Installing Transformation
INSTALLATIONS Installations allow a viewer to be transported in ways that makes art alive and palpable. I make installations to immerse the viewer into an environment in a room or gallery, taking them out of the traditional way of experiencing art. When works are hung from the ceiling away from a wall, it is a great opportunity for me to play with light and shadow. Because no two places are ever the same, when I hang the same installation in a new room or gallery something unexpected emerges. And viewers interact and see the work and the meaning differently. Fun to do and fun to experience!
